More evacuation alerts rescinded for Mount Eneas wildfire

More evacuation alerts were rescinded in the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and Central Okanagan Regional District in the Mount Eneas wildfire this afternoon, July 25, 2018.

PENTICTON  - The Mount Eneas fire emergency eased a bit more this afternoon resulting in the rescindment of all evacuation alerts in the Central Okanagan Regional District.

Central Okanagan Regional District Emergency Operations said in its 15th news release today, July 25, 698 properties in Peachland and the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area under evacuation alert are now rescinded.

No properties in the Central  Okanagan are currently under evacuation order or alert as of this afternoon.

Evacuation alerts issued by the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen along Highway 97, Callan Road, and North Beach Road were also rescinded this afternoon.

The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen also removed the state of local emergency for Electoral Area "F."
