Money, money, money: What you need to know about counterfeit bills

KAMLOOPS - It may be the most wonderful time of the year but It can also be the most expensive—especially if you get stuck with counterfeit money.

Kamloops RCMP is warning of the potential for counterfeit bills during a peak shopping season and want to make sure you know it too.

So while you're out shopping for Xboxs and iPhones, it can be easy to lose track and intercept some faulty cash.

While you may care more about what you can get for your money, you might want to know what you're spending. And the Bank of Canada does too.

It's your money.
