Canadian welterweight Nordine Taleb to meet Brazilian Warlley Alves at UFC 190

TORONTO - Montreal-based welterweight Nordine Taleb will meet Brazilian Warlley Alves at UFC 190 on Aug. 1 in Rio de Janeiro.

Both men are veterans of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality TV show.

Alves won Season 3 of "The Ultimate Fighter Brazil" while Taleb, competing as a middleweight, was part of "The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada versus Australia."

Both Alves (9-0) and the French-born Taleb (10-2) are unbeaten in the UFC.

The UFC 190 main event at the HSBC Arena pits women's bantamweight champion (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey against Bethe Correia. The card also features a rematch between light-heavyweights Mauricio (Shogun) Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
