Disappearance of Chinese woman visiting son in B.C. suspicious: police

RICHMOND, B.C. - The family of a Chinese woman is appealing for her safe return after she disappeared in Richmond, B.C., two weeks ago.

RCMP Cpl. Sherrdean Turley says Lianjie Guo and her husband came to Canada to visit their son but she hasn't been seen since June 7.

Turley says the disappearance is considered suspicious and foul play has not been ruled out.

Police have been conducting a grid search and the area has recently been expanded.

Turley says police dogs will be brought in to help as the mystery continues.
