Police are asking the public for help locating a 27-year-old missing Fort St. John man who may be in Kamloops.
Jordan Dean Nande was reported missing April 1 after he said he was heading to Kamloops, although it isn't confirmed he arrived, according to a Kamloops RCMP media release issued today, July 20.
Fort St. John RCMP believes Kamloops was the last place Nande was before he fell out of contact.
"The Kamloops RCMP detachment has been and continues to be on the lookout for information related to Jordan’s whereabouts, however, those efforts may be further complicated by the fact that he is wanted on an arrest warrant and may be avoiding contact with police,” Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn in a media release.
"Jordan’s family last spoke to him about three weeks prior to reporting him as missing, at which time he stated he was in Kamloops. It is quite possible he may have left the area soon after arriving."
The release doesn't say why Nande is wanted on an arrest warrant but court records show he's breached his probation.
Nande is an Indigenous male, 5'10" in height, weighing 154 lb. with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-10985.
