RCMP in Alberta are once again asking for the public's help in locating an Alberta man missing since May, 2019 who may be in British Columbia.

Robert Allen Wetsch, 40, was last seen in Hinton, Alberta, on May 19, 2019. Police say updated information about the man’s whereabouts indicates he might be in B.C.

Hinton RCMP and Wetsch’s family are asking anyone who may have been in contact with him or who might have knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward, according to an Alberta RCMP media release.

His mother says it is not like him to have no contact with the family.

“He may not be in a proper state of mind to do so. If anything has happened to him, I just want to know any and all information. If anyone knows anything, please reach out so that I can know where my son is,” his mother, Bonnie, says in the release.

Extensive air and ground searches in June and November, 2019 have failed to locate any trace of Wetsch in the Hinton area.

RCMP describe Wetsch as a Caucasian man, six feet tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

If you have information on the missing person contact the Hinton RCMP at 780-865-5544, or your local police. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online at www.P3Tips.com.
