Metal titans Lamb of God and Mastodon coming to Okanagan

Grammy award-nominated and award-winning metal icons Lamb of God and Mastodon have announced a stop in Penticton on their Ashes of Leviathan tour.

On Aug. 16, at the South Okanagan Events Centre, in Penticton, Lamb of God and Mastodon join forces on their tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their respective releases: Lamb of God's best-selling album Ashes of the Wake and Mastodon's sophomore album Leviathan.

The bands will perform the entirety of their albums and will have special guest appearances by Kerry King and Malevolance.

Tickets for their Penticton performance will go on sale, Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased on the Valley First Tickets website here or at the box office in person at the South Okanagan Events Centre; prices start at $59.50. VIP ticket packages will also be on sale as of today, Feb. 6, on the Ashes of Leviathan website here.

Lamb of God's latest album Omens, was the band's sixth consecutive Top 15 debut on the Billboard 200. It was also number one on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, having amassed 60 million streams and more.

Mastodon's late album was produced by acclaimed music producer David Bottrill featuring 15 different tracks. The album was their third consecutive number-one debut on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums Chart and got them a Grammy nomination for their song Pushing The Tides.
