A bus stolen from a Merritt retirement home yesterday has been found, but the suspect is still at large.

The Florentine Retirement home posted on their Facebook page today that their bus stolen Oct. 7, was recovered in North Burnaby.

A photo of the suspect caught on security camera was released by The Florentine last night, prior to the bus being located.

Andrew Klymchuk, maintenance supervisor with The Florentine retirement community, said the suspect stole the bus around 3 a.m. after breaking into the building and taking the keys.

Anyone with information about the incident can call the Merritt RCMP at 250-378-4262.
