After cancellations for the last two years due to the pandemic, Merritt’s Bass Coast Festival is planning to return this summer.

Event organizers, who describe the event as a "thoughtfully curated boutique music and art festival," have announced it will take place July 8 to 11, 2022, and presale tickets will be available Nov. 15.

The event has drawn thousands of festival-goers in the past. The full festival line-up has not yet been announced.

Bass Coast Festival said it will operate within local health guidelines.

The sale of general admission tickets open Nov. 22, and cost $409, not including service fees and tax, according to the Bass Coast Festival website. Vehicle passes, reserved camping, bell tents, cabins, drink packages, Wednesday entry, Thursday entry and limited edition T-shirts will also be available at this time, according to the festival website.

Bass Coast Festival tickets are non-refundable but in the event cannot take place next year, organizers said all valid tickets will be moved forward one year.
