The list of Central Okanagan schools with COVID-19 continues to grow with another elementary school hit today, Nov. 16.

Most news releases about school cases refer to a single person testing positive but this one is different.

“Interior Health confirmed members of the École Élémentaire Casorso Elementary School community tested positive for COVID-19,” states a news release from School District 23.

The number of cases in each school is not revealed, nor how many other people have been sent home to self-isolate because of contact with those who tested positive.

Whether those affected are students or staff is also not released.

“The safety and well-being of students, families, and staff remains our highest priority,” the news release states. “Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible.”
