McLeod named an official opposition critic

KAMLOOPS - The official opposition shadow cabinet was announced today and local member of Parliament Cathy McLeod was named one of the critics.

McLeod was named Critic for Indigenous Affairs.

“I look forward to my new role and being an effective member of such a dynamic team,” McLeod says in a media release.

Interim Conservative leader Rona Ambrose says she believes the team will be the "strongest official opposition the country has ever seen."

Dan Albas, MP for Okanagan-Coquihalla, was named the Interprovincial Trade critic while Mel Arnold of the North Okanagan-Shuswap is the deputy critic for Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard.
