RCMP are searching for a suspect following a robbery at a Princeton gas station.

A lone man entered a Princeton gas station on Jan.12 around 10:30 p.m. and robbed the establishment using a firearm, according to an RCMP media release. Police do not say which gas station in the Similkameen community was robbed.

The suspect ran across the highway after the robbery and fled in a white SUV, possibly a 1990s model GMC Jimmy or Ford Explorer, heading east.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance, and is described as Caucasian man, wearing blue-coloured Fox gloves with a black windbreaker and black cargo pants with a large belt buckle. He was also wearing a ski mask.

Anyone with information about the suspect or this incident is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
