TORONTO - Some of the most active companies traded Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,285.00, up 38.23 points):

Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Down 12 cents, or 1.32 per cent, to $8.99 on 13.3 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down three cents, or 1.29 per cent, to $2.29 on 9.5 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Down seven cents, or 1.72 per cent, to $4.94 on 5.9 million shares.

Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Down 47 cents, or 5.56 per cent, to $7.99 on 5.3 million shares.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Down 64 cents, or 1.95 per cent, to $32.18 on 4.5 million shares.

Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG). Miner. Up one cent, or 0.68 per cent, to $1.48 on 4.4 million shares.

BlackBerry (TSX:BB). Smartphones, communications software. Up four cents, or 0.32 per cent, to $12.61 on 2.5 million shares. The Waterloo, Ont.,-based company plans to wade into the transportation industry with new technology that will help trucking companies keep tabs on freight. The company unveiled the foundation of its Internet of Things platform Wednesday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, marking the first step towards building a service that BlackBerry believes will be the next wave of innovation for businesses that range from automakers to the health-care industry.
