Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 10 cents, or 1.63 per cent, to $6.04 on 7.5 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 20 cents, or 2.23 per cent, to $8.77 on 7.4 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 21 cents, or 3.12 per cent, to $6.53 on 7.3 million shares.

Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G). Miner. Down 93 cents, or 3.86 per cent, to $23.15 on 3.6 million shares. Goldcorp Inc. has made a $520-million, all-share takeover offer for junior explorer Kaminak Gold Corp. The acquisition would give Goldcorp control of the Coffee gold project in Yukon, which has probable reserves of 2.2 million ounces of gold as well as exploration potential on 60,000 hectares of land holdings in the region.
