Marianas Trench to rock fans in Kelowna

Pop-rockers Marianas Trench are hitting the road in the spring of 2016 for their Never Say Die tour and have included Kelowna on their list of stops.

KELOWNA - Pop-rockers Marianas Trench are hitting the road in the spring of 2016 for their Never Say Die tour and have included Kelowna on their list of stops.

Tickets will go on sale for the Tuesday, April 5, 2016, concert at Prospera Place tomorrow, Nov. 10.

The multi-platinum selling Canadian band is touring in support of their newly released fourth studio album Astoria.

Canadian quintet Walk Off The Earth will be opening for Marianas Trench.

“Mousse up that hair, throw on your best ripped acid wash, and get ready to join the fight to make dancing legal once again,” Marianas Trench front man Josh Ramsay says in a media release.

The band has been touring relentlessly for the past decade and is known for engaging with their fans.

Their debut album Fix Me in 2006 had two platinum hits, Masterpiece and Ever After. The band won a the 2013 Juno Award for Group of the Year and Ramsay received a Grammy nomination in 2013 for co-writing and producing Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit Call Me Maybe.

Tickets start at $35, plus service charges, for the reserved seating and all ages concert. They can be purchased starting tomorrow at the Prospera Place Box Office, by phone at 250-762-5050 and online at Select Your Tickets online.
