Police forces in Kelowna, Vancouver and Alberta are on the hunt for a man wanted on 11 charges in connection to human trafficking and sexual assault including the sex trafficking of a 12-year-old girl.

Kemron Tevin Alexander, 28, has been on the run since at least June 16, when the Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation unit in Alberta obtained the Canada-wide warrant.

He was also featured today, July 6, in Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers most wanted feature.

Alexander is know to travel between Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Kelowna, Vancouver and other cities in the Lower Mainland, according to a media release. Police also say he has connections in Ontario.

“Our primary concern is supporting this child victim and exhausting every measure to ensure she is protected from her alleged perpetrator,” Staff Sgt. Frank Page with the human trafficking unit said in the release.

“We need to get him in custody and we need the public’s help in locating him.”

Police describe Alexander as a 28-year-old non-white male, 6’2” tall and 165 lb. with black hair and brown eyes.

The suspect has been known to carry weapons and police are warning not to approach him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go to www.crimestoppers.net.

Alberta’s Human Trafficking Counter Exploitation unit investigates domestic human trafficking involving sexual exploitation.
