A man wanted by Kamloops RCMP as well as Edmonton and Winnipeg police services for a number of crimes was captured Feb. 13 by Coquitlam RCMP.
Cory Todd Siebolts was on the RCMP top ten most wanted list for theft, possession of stolen property, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, personation, breach of recognizance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He was arrested while he was walking in Surrey after being recognized by a Coquitlam Mountie. Police also recovered stolen credit cards as well as other identification found on Siebolt after his arrest.
Siebolt is in custody to appear in provincial court Feb. 15. He faces additional charges of identity theft and possessing forged credit cards.
