Man wanted for sex crimes believed to be in Kamloops

Melvin Tourond is wanted by Terrace RCMP for sex-related charges and believed to be in the Kamloops area.

RCMP believe a man wanted for arrest on sex-related charges may be in the Kamloops area.

Terrace RCMP are searching for 49-year-old Melvin Tourond, who also goes by the alias Richard Lincoln.

Tourond is wanted on a warrant for his arrest for charges of sexual interference, sexual assault and possession of child pornography.

Tourond is of native descent standing five-foot-five inches, weighs 123 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has pock marks on his face with three noticeable slash-type scars on the front of his head.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400.
