A man was found with stab wounds in Kelowna this morning.
Officers received a report of an injured man around 8 a.m. this morning, July 1, on Richter Street, according to a release from the Kelowna RCMP.
Police arrived to find a man suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Suspects have been arrested.
“There is no reasons to believe that the public is at risk”, Cpl Judith Bertrand said in the release.
Members of the Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section have linked the incident to a nearby residence.
“The stabbing is believed to targeted and no other suspects are outstanding,” Bertrand said. “We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward and call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300”.
