Man in hospital following West Kelowna house fire

A West Kelowna man is currently in now in hospital following a house fire last night.

On June 2, just before 7 p.m., West Kelowna police officers found a man in medical distress and a small fire inside of a house in the 900-block of Westbrook Drive, according to the RCMP in a news release.

The fire was extinguished, and the man was transported to Kelowna General Hospital, according to the news release. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

No charges are being considered, and no further information is being released, according to the RCMP.
