Man in hospital as Kelowna RCMP hunt for stabbing suspect

KELOWNA - A man is in critical condition after a stabbing on last night and Kelowna police are searching for the culprit.

According to a press release, Kelowna RCMP responded to a call for help from B.C. Emergency Health Services on June 27 at 11:24 p.m. Police arrived at the 200 block of Bernard Avenue near Water Street and found an unconscious man in serious medical distress.

The man was rushed to hospital for treatment, where he remains in critical condition.

Police are canvassing the area for witnesses and video footage.
