Man found unlawfully in Penticton townhome

Penticton RCMP are investigating after a man was found unlawfully in a town house on South Main Street earlier this week.

Penticton RCMP have arrested a man following reports of a man unlawfully in a residence.

Officers responded to a report of a man having been found inside a townhome located in the 3000 block of South Main Street on June 2 around 2 p.m.

“Officers found the man outside the residence and took him into custody without incident. A motive is not known at this time, and our officers continue to investigate,” police spokesperson Const. James Grandy said in a press release issued this morning.

Police are seeking any members of the public who may have witnessed this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Penticton RCMP at 250492-4300, quoting file 2020-8525.
