Man armed with stun baton, knives arrested on Kamloops's North Shore

A report of a man on Tranquille Road in Kamloops carrying a "Taser baton" resulted in his arrest this morning.

The man was spotted around 9:33 a.m. today, Jan. 21, on the 1800 block of Tranquille Road and officers quickly arrived on the scene to investigate, according to an RCMP press release.

Officers seized a stun baton, knives, drugs and stolen property.

The man was released with conditions and a court date, RCMP say.
