KAMLOOPS - It looks like the weather will be cooperating for the Canada Day long weekend in Kamloops.
Today, June 29, should be sunny in Kamloops, according to Environment Canada, with a high of 32 Celsius expected. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 16 C.
Tomorrow is forecast to be even hotter, reaching a high of 34 C. While mainly sunny, there will be some cloud in the afternoon. Overnight the temperature is expected to drop to a low of 17 C with cloudy periods.
On Saturday, Canada Day, it looks like it’s going to be hot with a high of 32 C, a mix of sun and cloud and a 30 per cent chance of showers. Into the evening, the chance or rain will rise to 60 per cent as the temperature drops to a low of 16 C overnight.
Sunday things will clear up a little, with a mix of sun and cloud. A high of 31 C is predicted as a high during the day and 14 C is the expected low at night.
On holiday Monday, we’ll return to the sunny skies with a high of 29 C during the day and 15 C at night.
Next week you can expect sunny skies and highs in the upper 20s.
Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 27 C and lows of 13 C.
