LUMBY - It wasn't much of a Valentine's Day for a Lumby man who police say was beaten by five youths wearing hoodies.
Officers arrived at the scene just after midnight February 14 and saw the youths running away, according to an RCMP media release.
The man received an injury to his eye during the altercation. He was unable to give police a description of his alleged attackers, nor could he think of a motive behind their actions.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lumby RCMP at 250-547-2151 or Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477.
