KAMLOOPS - If you want to get a closer look at the judicial community in Kamloops along with its courthouse, next week’s event will help you learn more.
On Tuesday, April 12, the Kamloops Law Courts will be open to the public to learn more about the system, its players and see areas of the courthouse which are normally restricted.
The event is open to all ages, as part of the Canadian Bar Association’s Law Week.
Attendees can expect a scavenger hunt around the courthouse, a tour of the sheriff’s cells, a meet and greet with several community partners and a RCMP K9 unit demonstration.
The event will conclude with a mock trial of Luke Skywalker who is charged with destroying the death star.
