Brazil president to remove colostomy bag

SAO PAULO - Brazil's far-right President Jair Bolsonaro has arrived in Sao Paulo to remove the colostomy bag he has been using he was stabbed during a campaign rally in September.

The president's office said Bolsonaro arrived Sunday at the Albert Einstein hospital and will undergo surrey Monday morning.

Bolsonaro was stabbed Sept.6. He suffered intestinal damage and serious internal bleeding before undergoing surgery.

Presidential spokesman Gen. Otavio Santana do Rego Barros said the president's recovery will take about 10 days.
