Someone bought a ticket to yesterday’s, July 25, Lotto Max in Kamloops and will split the $70 million jackpot.

The winning numbers were posted on the Play Now website and show one winning ticket sold in Kamloops and one in Edmonton so each is worth $35 million.

In addition to the Lotto Max jackpot, two tickets in B.C. – one sold in Vancouver and one sold in Delta – each won a Maxmillions prize of $1 million, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release. Another ticket sold in the Shuswap split a Maxmillions prize with a player in Ontario, scoring $500,000.

It shows the seven winning numbers as: 15, 16, 17, 18, 43, 44 and 48 (bonus 50).

No ticket was sold for the second place $1.2 million prize, but hundreds of other smaller prizes were won.

The winner has a year to claim the prize.
