Lots of sunshine forecast for the Okanagan this week

Expect to see lots of blue sky in the Okanagan this week.

This week's forecast in the Okanagan is calling for lots of sunshine and daytime high temperatures several degrees above normal for this time of year.

The Weather Network is calling in an extreme week across Canada with a warm spell in most of British Columbia contrasting with the potential for snow in northern Ontario and Manitoba.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud this morning, Sept. 28, with clearing later in the day, the wind from the southeast at 20 km/h, a daytime high of 22 Celsius and a low of 8 C.

Mainly sunny conditions are expected Tuesday with a high of 23 C and a low of 11 C.

Sunny skies are in store for Wednesday with a high of 22 C and a low of 10 C expected.

More sunshine is in store Thursday, with a high of 22 C and a low of 11 C.

There’s a mix of sun and cloud expected Friday, with a high of 21 C along with a low of 8 C.

It’s looking like a great fall weekend as well, with a mix of sun and cloud and a highs of 21 C forecast for Saturday and Sunday.

Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton normally sees a high of 16 C and a low of 5 C this time of year.
