VERNON— This cuddly dog came to the Vernon SPCA when his previous owner was unable to care for him.

Duke is initially quite submissive but really enjoys his toys and playing, a media release says.

He can be quiet but quickly warms up to cuddles and pets.

Duke is looking for a quiet home where he can settle in and enjoy life.

Older children are okay but younger children would be too noisy and active for him. He also will require a home with no cats.

Duke has food allergies and will require a specific diet to maintain good health.

For more information about Duke contact the staff at the Vernon SPCA. His animal ID number is 480422.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
