KAMLOOPS — This bunny has been waiting 178 days for somebody to come and adopt her from the Kamloops SPCA.

Pandora is a big bunny with a big personality, a media release says. Found as a stray she was brought to the shelter and was never claimed. She has been spayed with ID and is ready to hop away into somebody's heart.

Pandora is curious in what's going on around her and elsewhere in the room though maybe a little nervous at times with handling. She is an explorer of new things in her area and will come check out whomever comes to visit. She loves attention, and if ignored will give a quick thump of her back feet to remind you she is there. She also loves to nibble shoes, possibly in an attempt to let people know she is ready for her fresh veggies.

Pandora does not care for other rabbits so she will have to be in a single rabbit home.

Pandora will need a large exercise area to run around and stretch her legs to keep her happy. A rabbit guardian with experience would be ideal since she can be picky about how she's handled. She is not recommended for young children.

Rabbits require special care and diet so adopters need to research before taking one into their home.

For more information about Pandora contact the staff at the Kamloops SPCA. Her animal ID number is 464824.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
