Delta is a beautiful hound surrendered to the Vernon SPCA shelter after a loss in her previous home.

She is a very sweet girl who can be a little shy at first but she will warm up to you very quickly, especially if you have a treat. Shelter staff have found this is the way to her heart.

Delta 7-years-old but still very active and playful. She loves going for her walks and will definitely keep up on a hike.

Delta came from a home with other dogs and gets along well with most dogs, however, she can be a little hesitant at first. A nice slow introduction helps make it more comfortable for Delta.

When left alone Delta will gently remind you she is a hound with her lovely singing voice. Introducing her to time alone gradually will help her become more comfortable being left home alone. Delta has very polite leash manners and knows her sit, stay and come commands.

If you are looking for a gentle and loving dog then inquire with a staff member about Delta at the Vernon branch of the BC SPCA.

For more infomation go to the shelter's webside.

Delta's animal ID number is 265376.
