KELOWNA -  This hidden gem is ready to meet her cuddle buddy.

Trixie is an absolute gem and will reward you with many years of love, laughter, and loyalty.

Trixie might let her grey face show, however, she wants to provide someone with many years of love and cuddles.

Other than cats, there isn't much Trixie doesn't like. She enjoys a lot of attention, playing with family and toys. She enjoys a walk, just like other dogs but cuddy time is where she thinks she shines, according to the SPCA pet profile.

At the shelter, Trixie has learned to walk on a lead; she is a very clever German Shepherd. The SPCA says she quickly catches on to new routines and responds well when called.

The SPCA believes Trixie's ideal home would be a quiet house with people that are "low energy." She will happily go on leisurely walks or other forms of exercise but she would prefer extensive cuddle time.

She is patient and usually calm. Trixie is described as "very affectionate, loving and friendly to everyone she meets."

Kelowna staff say, "we are confident she will fill that special corner of your heart."

Trixie is a sweet soul and if you would like to add her to the family, come down and visit the shelter at 3785 Casorso Rd, call them at 250-861-7722, or visit the website for more information.
