KAMLOOPS - The B.C. SPCA in Kamloops is looking to find Prince the dog his forever home.

The 3-year-old tan and white Chihuahua arrived at the Kamloops SPCA along with this brother Jose.

He's a timed dog that needs slow introductions and a quiet household, animal care attendant Lyndsay Stewart says, and he appears to be fully house-trained.

His likes include the company of other dogs and his dislikes are fast movements and loud noises.

Prince would be best suited for an adult only environment and his new guardians must be prepared to work with him on his fearfulness.

"Going into new environments is definitely overwhelming on Prince, but once he warms up to people he becomes a loyal little companion that likes to follow you everywhere," Stewart says.

Prince is currently in foster care so if you'd like to meet him you'll need to make an appointment.

If you think you would be the right match for Prince just speak with the shelter staff about the adoption process. Prince's animal ID number is 443583.
