KAMLOOPS - She might be timid but she is a ray of sunshine.
Soleil, which means sun in French, is a very beautiful kitten that was living on the streets before being rescued by the Kamloops SPCA.
As a feral kitten, Soleil was put into a foster home so she could become socialized to people. Because she has lived the majority of her life without people she takes some time to get used to new people and situations.
To feel safe, Soleil likes to have places she can hide, which can cause her to be overlooked in the shelter environment.
Soleil is looking for a patient, gentle and cat-savvy guardian that can help her overcome her be brave and build her confidence. Due to her timidness, the Kamloops SPCA believes the ideal home for Soleil would be quiet one without children.
Her foster home had a dog so she would do well in a multi-pet home.
She's young and playful and enjoys pets when she gets to know you.
The SPCA thinks Soleil has lots of potential to be a loyal and loving companion in the right home.
