KAMLOOPS - Grace, animal identification number 429563, is a beautiful four-year-old Domestic Medium Hair Ragdoll cat.

This week, the Kamloops SPCA would like to feature Grace who originally came into the care of the SPCA with a large number of other animals due to a Cruelty Investigation.

Grace was used to being with other cats but she was under socialized to people. This made her very fearful when she came into the care of the SPCA. She has never lived in a real home, according to the Kamloops SPCA pet profile. Also, when she arrived at the shelter she was pregnant.

In order to raise her kittens and learn how to be around people, Grace went into a foster home for the last few months. Now, she is back at the shelter and looking for a home of her own.

The idea home for Grace would be quite with experienced cat-savvy guardians who can show her the patience and love she needs to continue to come out of her shell. She still scares easily around fast movements and loud noises so she would do best in an adult home without any children.

Grace is a beautiful cat that does enjoy to be pet, once she is comfortable with the person. She would likely do fine in a home with other feline friends, however, slow introductions are important.

A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

If you think this shy girl is right for you, contact the Kamloops SPCA for more information. More information about Grace and the Kamloops SPCA is available online.
