Limited amount of sunshine in Kamloops forecast this week

Kamloops residents face a week of unsettled weather conditions.

Kamloops residents can expect a mix of weather conditions this week with a fall assortment of sun, clouds and showers in the forecast.

Environment Canada says to expect mainly cloudy conditions today, Oct. 15, with east winds at 30 km/h and a high of 15 Celsius. It should be mainly cloudy overnight with a low of 8 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers. 

Tomorrow is expected to be mainly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers early in the morning before rising to 40 per cent in the afternoon. You can expect easterly winds at 30 km/h gusting to 50 in the morning, with a daytime high of 17 C and a low of 5 C overnight. Clouds with a 60 per cent chance of showers are in the forecast overnight.

Cloudy skies are expected to continue into Thursday with a high of 13 C expected. More clouds along with a 40 per cent chance of showers are forecast for Thursday night with a low of 6 C.

Skies should brighten a bit on Friday with a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 12 C and a low of 5 C.

The weekend forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of rain on Saturday.

Normal temperatures this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 13 C and lows of 3 C.
