VANCOUVER - Legendary rock band AC/DC is spending the first half of the Rock or Bust World Tour in Europe but has announced plans to tear down the house at more than a dozen North American venues at the end of the summer.
With Edmonton and Vancouver on the roster for the end of September, it's a chance to see the band do what they do best—light up the stage with an energy few can match.
The Australian band has been playing for more than 40 years and has released more than 30 albums, selling more than 200 millions albums worldwide. During that time they have released hits such as Back in Black, T.N.T., Hells Bells, Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck and You Shook Me All Night Long, to name just a few.
Rock or Bust, the latest album for the band, was released in early December and debuted at number one in 10 countries, including Canada.
AC/DC will play Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on Sept. 20 and B.C. Place in Vancouver on Sept. 22 before heading to California for shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, Feb. 16.
