One of the best selling bands to emerge from the Great White North will be making a stop in Vernon as part of their North American tour.

Canadian rockers Finger Eleven will bring their genre-defying sound that blends cathartic metal and alt-rock balladry to danceable funk and power pop to Vernon.

“I’m excited to share that F11 is finally getting back on the road,” frontline Scott Anderson said in a media release.

“This time we’re hitting both Canada and the U.S. including places we haven’t been in years. We can’t wait to start making noise again.”

Greatest Hits North American Tour kicks off in August with the band stopping in Vernon for a concert Saturday, Nov. 18.

The band broke into the international mainstream with their debut album The Greyest of Blue Skies, achieving gold status in the U.S. and platinum in Canada, according to the performing arts centre release.

Tickets, which range in price from $64 to $69, go on sale at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17. They can be purchased by calling 250-549-SHOW (7469) or by going online here.
