A musical of Legally Blonde is being showcased by the Kelowna Actors Studio.

The story was popularized in 2001 when it was released as a movie starring Reese Witherspoon, and the Legally Blonde novel was released the same year. The local musical will be based upon both formats.

“This musical is so much fun, it should be illegal,” according to the poster.

Music and lyrics to the musical were written by Laurance O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and the book by Heather Hach.
