Special performers include nine-year-old accordion player Monica Nadj, a Penticton local whose parents came from Serbia in 2009. The accordion and piano player will make her debut Sunday.
Sunday’s activities also include a three-hour art workshop by acclaimed urban artist and muralist Nereo Zorro.
The workshop will feature demonstrations of street art techniques and ways to tell stories in a visual format.
It’s a hands-on workshop where participants will create their own art with the techniques they learn. An art table is also available for young kids to tap into their visual storytelling skills. Attendance is limited, and all supplies are provided. Donations for this event are accepted at the door.
Zorro is also painting the third mural in the festival starting this weekend.
