The latest outbreak at Kelowna General Hospital has been declared over by Interior Health.

Two patients and one staff member are linked to the outbreak in ward 3E at Kelowna General, according to an Interior Health media release.

One person died as in the outbreak.

“The best thing we can do to protect ourselves and our community against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated," Interior Health president and CEO Susan Brown said in the release. "If you haven’t received your first dose yet, I encourage you to visit one of our clinics today.”

People can register and book vaccinations on the Get Vaccinated website here, or by calling 1-833-838-2323.
