After remaining open longer than any other ski hill in the Okanagan, Baldy Mountain Resort is closing for the season.
The resort announced it will close March 23, on its Facebook page.
"Our lifts will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd, after which we’ll shut them down until next year," the Facebook post reads.

The resort originally planned to operate until the end of the month, but with less tourists and amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the resort decided to close early, Christine Cuttle, with guest services, said.
It is the last standing resort in the region. Other larger ski hills have already closed after the province announced that gatherings of more than 50 people have been banned.
