WEST KELOWNA - The tennis court at Last Mountain Park will be out of commission for a month as crews work to replace the facility.

As part of this year’s capital works, the City is spending $84,000 to replace the tennis court at 3171 Webber Road in the Glenrosa Neighbourhood.

Work will begin Monday, April 18 and, subject to weather delays, is expected to be complete by May 20.

The tennis court will be closed for the duration.

The remainder of Last Mountain Park, including the children’s playground and access to nearby Glen Canyon trails, will remain open throughout construction.

The project involves removing old asphalt and sub base, tree root extraction, laying of two new lifts of asphalt followed by play surface and net installation.

For more information about this project please contact the City’s Parks Department at 778-797-8849.
