KAMLOOPS - An equipment company catering to farmers and construction companies was targeted by a computer thief this weekend.

On Sunday, Jan. 25 at about 5 p.m., Prairie Coast Equipment on Dallas Drive was broken into. A smaller, dark coloured SUV was caught on video surveillance arriving at the front gate and the male driver was then witnessed hopping the fence to access the yard. He then broke into the office by smashing a window with rocks and took off with laptop computers.

The male was wearing a dark jacket, light jeans and light runners at the time.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area and have seen this vehicle on Sunday  to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers online or at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
