Velocity Truck Centres is building a new facility at the Kelowna International Airport.

“This landmark project represents a significant investment in the community and underscores Velocity Truck Centre's unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled customer experiences,” the company said in a press release issued today, April 11.

Velocity Truck Centres works on heavy trucks supplying parts and doing repairs. The company has 18 locations around Western Canada, including one in West Kelowna, servicing various makes and models including Western Star.

It isn’t clear how many jobs will be created or how Velocity is going to partner with the airport.
