KAMLOOPS - Join the B.C. Wildlife Park for our exciting kid's science day camps.
Our camps are designed to instill enthusiasm and an appreciation for wildlife and nature. Each day of camp is based on an exciting topic with activities specifically designed for age 6-10. Kids will have an opportunity to explore wildlife and their habitats through interactive educational programs and activities.
Register your child for one day or an entire week.
Kids Camp: Age 6 to 10
August 15 to 19
15 - "Magnificent Mammals"
Did you know that there are 4,000 species of mammals? Learn all about the mammals that live here at the Park! The day will include the Kermode bear talk and a special mammal craft!
16 - "Historic Creatures"
For thousands of years mythical creatures have been brought to life through stories, songs and art! Learn how these creatures resemble the animals of today! The day will include a snake encounter and a special art project!
17 - "Wild and Wonderful Wolves"
Did you know that wolves have unique howls that scientists and other wolves can use to tell them apart? Learn how wolves keep our ecosystems healthy! The day will include a visit to the wolf exhibit and a special wolf craft!
18 - "My Life as a Salmon"
Learn about the amazing journey of the salmon! Many animals depend on the salmon as a valuable food source! The day will include a visit to the grizzly bear exhibit and a special salmon craft!
19- "Nature Rangers"
Do you have what it takes to be a Nature Ranger? Do you love wildlife and want to keep the Earth healthy? If you answered yes then this day is for you! The day will include the Bird of Prey show, a turtle encounter and a special Earth themed craft!
