KELOWNA - KF Aerospace wants to hire 100 new workers over the next year for its expanding Kelowna and Hamilton plants.

As the country’s largest company providing commercial maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft, it’s looking to hire and train entry level workers as well as those who already have skilled trades qualifications.

“For our entry level roles we provide on-the-job training that allows you to work towards a certification,” Human Resources Manager, Susan van Unen said in a news release. “If you have a great attitude and are ready to learn and grow with us, we'd love to hear from you.”

There are two career fairs planned, one in Hamilton on Sept. 19 and the other in Kelowna on Sept. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 5650 Aerospace Dr.

Okanagan College will attend the Kelowna session to outline its Aircraft Maintenance Engineer training programs. Those looking at other career paths will be able to meet with KF’s Corporate Services Team.
