Kelowna’s highly-anticipated Rock the Lake music festival has announced some of the lineup for 2024.

Tom Cochrane, Theory of a Deadman, Our Lady Peace and 54-40 are performing with more band announcements to come.

Rock the Lake also announced today, April 11, it has moved the three-day music festival, held in the parking lot at Prospera Place in Kelowna, to July 12 to 14.

In September, festival organizers said it would be held in August, but have decided to change the dates to avoid the height of the wildfire season.

“We understand that many of our most loyal Rock the Lake fans have made plans around the previous dates, and we are reaching out to these affected customers directly,” Mike Strawn, Vice President of Rock the Lake's organizer GSL Group said in the release.

“The choice to move the dates was not an easy one, however, we are fully invested in this community and event, and we feel we needed to make this change to set this festival and community up for success."

Tickets are currently on sale online. The pre-release tickets are already sold out.

The festival has not said when the full band lineup will be announced.
