"I am here to thank you, the listener of the ‘Andy & Tj’ show; the advertisers who trusted their brand during our time slot and the numerous local charities who counted on us as their voice over the last 18 years," Andy James wrote in a post to Facebook. "It has been a humble privilege to be a part of your mornings. We were there with you for so many monumental events, from firestorm 2003 to COVID 2020. As you’ve allowed us into your homes and shared your personal stories, we’ve also shared our victories and challenges."
"We met and fell in love… on the radio. We got married, and you were a part of it. During my battle with anxiety and depression; you were there. Whether it was our kid’s adventures (or misadventures), Tj’s cancer battle, your support made our family feel like a part of your family. How we can ever repay that, I have no idea," James wrote.
Tj will remain with the company after taking the next few months off for her reconstructive surgery as the company has offered her a different position, he wrote.
"As for the future? Well, I am catching my breath and then plan to focus on my voice acting business. Something tells me that Kelowna has not heard the last of Andy and Tj."
